
Jennifer L. Davenport – RAP, EA, ABA
President
Jennifer hails from Emmons, MN originally. She graduated from Riverland College with an AAS, and is a Registered Accounting Practitioner, Enrolled Agent, and an Accredited Business Accountant. She has worked at Tri-State Tax and Accounting since 2002. She purchased the business in 2011. Jennifer enjoys traveling, completing puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family, which includes husband Richard, daughter Kari, son Miles, and grandchildren Andi and Barrett (and dogs Lovey and Sunny).

Richard Davenport
Richard is originally from Dover, Delaware. He graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul in 1999, with a degree in Mass Communication. Since 2016, Richard has worked at Tri-State Tax & Accounting as a tax preparer. In 2022, he became the manager of our Wells office. In his spare time, Richard enjoys traveling, reading, gaming, watching sports and spending time with his family, wife Jennifer, son Miles, daughter Kari, and grandchildren Andi and Barrett (and dogs Lovey and Sunny).

Kari Anderson
Kari grew up in Emmons, MN. She has been working for Tri-State Tax & Accounting since 2014, when she started inputting tax returns in the background. She now works on individual, small business, small farm, daycares, and rentals. Her family includes daughter Andi and son Barrett, along with her furry children Socks and Shadow (cats) and mega Mastiff/Great Dane Juggs (also known as Juggsie Boy). In her spare time, when she’s not remodeling her home, Kari likes to read, do puzzles, and binge watch TV shows.

Cecilia Diaz
Cecilia is from Brownsville, Texas, but now she lives in Albert Lea with her family: husband Alejandro, son AJ, and daughter Alynna. Cecelia has been doing taxes for a few years now and joined Tri-State in 2021. She enjoys baking, fishing, and reading in her spare time.

Cheryl Hedman
Cheryl has worked in the accounting and tax preparation industry for over thirty years. She has experience with a variety of individual and small business clients. Cheryl also works with small business owners on their bookkeeping and payroll.
When Cheryl isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoys playing bingo and cards with family and friends.
Rachael Johnson
Rachael is from Kiester, MN, where she lives with her daughter Alleigh and her “succulent son” Sheldon. She’s been with Tri-State for six years as the office manager in Albert Lea and now the Administrative Manager in our Wells office. In her spare time, Rachael likes to travel, watch football, and decorate for Christmas (which she would do year-round at the office is Jenn and Richard would let her)!

Karen Cibert
Karen lives in Albert Lea with her husband and their labradoodle. Her daughter lives in Redwing with her spouse and Karen’s three grandchildren. Karen enjoys playing fetch and cuddling with her dog, collecting USA memorabilia, and riding in her ATV with her husband. Karen has been a bookkeeper for almost 20 years. She assists clients with their payroll and bookkeeping needs.

Tammy Krowiorz
Tammy has been the evening receptionist at Tri-State since 2016. Born and raised in Albert Lea, she moonlights as the legal secretary for Kyllo Law Office. She is 1/3 of the essential staff that keeps the Albert Lea office chugging along at tax time. When she’s not working, Tammy likes to read, fish and make memories with her family: husband John, kids Brandon, Anthony and Ashley, and their dogs Emma and Remi and cats Prim, Scout, and ZeeZee.

Gwen Osmundson
Gwen is from Montgomery, MN, but these days she makes her home in Minnesota Lake. She’s been doing accounting and bookkeeping for 25 years. Over the last seven years, she has assisted with basic tax return input, first at Schrader Accounting and now at Tri-State. She lives with her husband Dave and has five kids and six grandchildren. Gwen’s hobbies ARE her grandkids!
